These natural wood products simulate the wood bark, branches, chips, and sawdust that naturally accumulate on a forest floor. It also accumulates in areas where trees are cut down, loading areas, along roads and rail routes, unloading areas, and at mills. You can even use it in your logging pond to simulate the floating particles between logs on your model railroad. This wood turf will naturally darken with age, just like full-scale ground cover.

Note how the sawdust and ground cover adds realism to this scene. You can use any adhesive (such as white glue) to hold it in place, or just leave it loose. Please note that the turf is available in four sizes -- course, medium, fine, and micro-sawdust.
