Cut Forest Logs -
Logs are also available without vertical cuts. They simulate logs cut in the
forest that are ready to be flumed, river herded, trucked, or loaded onto
railcars headed to the mill pond. The logs are sold in groups of 8-10 in 18-24
foot lengths (HO gauge).
Mill Pond Logs
- Group of 8 to 10
(depending on size) mill pond logs are cut to place on top of the
water of a mill pond. You can add a couple of men (log herders)
standing on the logs with pike poles to finish out the scene.
Sawmill Wood -- These are precut logs and wood to associate with a sawmill. It includes logs
with first cut, 90 degree second cuts, slabs, slash with bark, etc.

Cut Forest Logs - $6.95.
Includes 8-20 logs (without vertical cuts) in 18-24' (HO) scale lengths. Other

real wood stack with planks that measure scale 4" X 16" X 20 foot long each.

Log Load with Chain -
This HO, HOn3, HOn30, real wood,10 log load, is made up of 18" to 24" scale
diameter, 20 feet long logs. The ends of each log are dressed as they would
come from logging areas. Chemically darkened metal chain holds the loads
together. Can be placed on flat cars, kadee log car trucks, etc.

Stack of Rough Lumber -
This HO, HOn3, HOn30 scale lumber stack is made of real rough cut wood
planks. The planks are a scale 4" x 16" and are 20 feet long each. Each
level is separated by 2" x 4" stingers to allow the wood to dry at the lumber
mill or yards.

Real logs can add a great deal of realism to logging scenes. The photo on the
left shows mill pond logs near a mill complex.
They are floating on the "water." The other photo shows stacks
of rough lumber at a mirror image, scratch built copy of the Master Creations
Coon Gap Sawmill.
